Hello, I am Dr. Tom Beall founder and owner of Pet Vet Pro LLC. I am happy to tell you that technology continues to advance veterinary healthcare leading our pets to living happier, healthier, and longer lives. But, the veterinary profession has no governmental support or subsides unlike our human counterparts. Therefore, this advanced veterinary healthcare has direct costs to the pet owner. Less than 1% of cats and dogs are covered by pet health insurance in the United States. I believe this is true because the policies are not cost effective for what they cover. The insurance policies do not cover pre-existing conditions, congenital, or breed specific problems which are one of the most expensive costs to pet owner.

Listen to Tony Virelli explain about Pet Vet Pro's Pet Health Savings Plan. |

Almost every day in my small animal practice and in veterinary hospitals across the country, finances dictate life/death situations. To illustrate this example, just last week I had a beagle that came in my office that had been hit by a car. The dog had a fractured pelvis and one broken hind leg. Due to the cost of these repairs, the owners elected to have their dog put down. I can think of many other cases of dogs/cats that swallowed foreign objects that were stuck in their intestine, or had other treatable medical conditions that had to be put down due to financial constraints. In most all of these cases, these pets could have been saved if it wasn't for the financial reasons.
Veterinarians like me, realize the cost of pet care continues to rise, and I want to help. This is exactly why I have developed PetVetPro’s Pet Health Savings Plan along with State Bank. You will begin saving each month to develop a fund for your pet to use for veterinary services/products, grooming, boarding, or pet supplies and food. As money starts to build in your account you will have the peace of mind that you are prepared if your pet has a problem or emergency in the future. The beauty of this is it that you will not be giving your money away to a third party that you may never see again. THE money will always be yours, you will always have access to it, and you decide how and when it is spent.
