| After almost losing my 7 month old cat Penny Pearl when she was a tiny kitten, I was very nervous to have her spayed, but knew it was the right thing to do. When we did blood work before the surgery, it showed she was anemic. I was unsure if I should go ahead with the surgery, or get a handle on the anemia first.
